Between hype and genuine added value: What really has a future in beauty salons

Ettlingen, 15th September 2026 – Skin Longevity, ‘Ozempic Face’, Korean cosmetics, collagen stimulation and the question of which of these really work in salons: The BEAUTY FORUM Day Stuttgart on 13th September 2026 focused on the topics currently shaping the professional beauty industry. More than 230 participants gathered at the exclusive Le Méridien Hotel in Stuttgart – for expert knowledge, business insights and direct discussion.

What matters now for beauty professionals

The program of talks demonstrated just how diverse the current developments are: skin longevity and neurocosmetics are shifting the focus towards long-term skin health and regeneration rather than over-treatment. Using the much-discussed ‘Ozempic Face’ as an example, it became clear what new challenges are emerging for cosmetic practices. Korean treatment concepts, modern active-ingredient cosmetics and collagen stimulation using polynucleotides, PDRN, exosomes, HIFU or RF microneedling also provided participants with concrete ideas for their treatment portfolios.

As well as treatment expertise, the focus was also on the studio’s financial future: How can new revenue streams be tapped into? How can a studio position itself more clearly? And which services will meet the needs of tomorrow’s clients? Practical presentations provided concrete ideas on these topics.

“The beauty industry is currently evolving at an incredibly rapid pace. For us, it is crucial not only to showcase trends, but also to put them into context for beauty professionals: What really has potential? What can be meaningfully integrated into day-to-day salon operations? And how can our visitors further develop their services and their businesses in the long term? It is precisely this practical transfer of knowledge that we aim to achieve with our BEAUTY FORUM Days,” says Roberto Valente, Managing Director of Health and Beauty Germany GmbH.

Discover, exchange ideas, network

With 25 exhibiting companies and brands, visitors were able to discover and test new products, active ingredients and treatment concepts, and engage directly with the companies. The deliberately compact event format created space for in-depth consultations, one-to-one discussions and an intensive professional exchange. At the same time, the day offered numerous opportunities to network with colleagues from the industry and share experiences from day-to-day salon life.

In this way, the BEAUTY FORUM Day Stuttgart combined current specialist topics with practical benefits for day-to-day professional life: new treatment concepts, longevity trends, answers to tomorrow’s customer queries, as well as business and revenue-generating ideas for one’s own salon.
