GALA AWARDS CEREMONY AT THE EXCLUSIVE ROSEWOOD MUNICH HOTEL
ETTLINGEN, 28 October 2024 – On 25 October 2024, the coveted BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award was presented at the exclusive Rosewood Munich Hotel. The award, a highlight of the professional beauty industry, celebrated outstanding achievements and innovations on the eve of BEAUTY FORUM MUNICH.
With a total of 116 nominations and more than 50 participating companies, the BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award reflected the diversity and innovative strength of the industry. Presenter Alessandra Geissel hosted the evening, accompanied by a captivating live performance from a singer–electric violin duo that delighted guests and perfectly complemented the event’s glamorous atmosphere.

New evaluation concept: Combination of user voting and jury verdict
This year’s award introduced an optimised evaluation system: winners were determined through an equal 50:50 weighting of a comprehensive online user vote and the assessment of a distinguished expert jury. More than 20,500 online votes were cast by beauty professionals, supporting their favourites in each category. The jury, present at the gala, contributed their expertise and personally presented the awards to the winners as laudators.
By combining expert knowledge with the valuable practical perspective of beauty professionals, the BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award ensures a thorough and multi-faceted evaluation of all submitted nominations.
Lifetime Achievement Honour – Prix d’Honneur de la Beauté
The evening’s highlight was the presentation of the Prix d’Honneur de la Beauté – a special lifetime achievement award – to renowned beauty pioneer Malu Wilz-Melgaard. Her decades of dedication to the industry were met with a standing ovation from the audience.
The BEAUTY FORUM Stars Award is one of the most important accolades in the professional beauty industry.
