Cosmoprof takes over capital majority of Health and Beauty Group

Ettlingen / Mailand, 30. Juli 2018 - The Health and Beauty Group is setting the course for a successful future: BolognaFiere Cosmoprof (Milan), one of the world's largest organizers of trade fairs for the cosmetics industry, acquires the majority of the capital and provides funding for further expansion.

With the internationally recognized trade fairs Cosmoprof in Bologna, Las Vegas (in a joint venture with the Professional Beauty Association) and Hong Kong (in a joint venture with UBM), Cosmoprof is in an excellent position globally. The participation in the Health and Beauty Group now ensures a vertical integration into attractive European markets and access to the professionals of cosmetics at the BEAUTY FORUM fairs, and even to the beauty-interested consumer through the BUNTE Beauty Days in cooperation with Germany’s most read peoples’ magazine BUNTE.  A big vote of confidence and strategically important building block for the further development of the Health and Beauty Group!

As part of the Cosmoprof Group, COSSMA, as the main organ of the global fairs, will be strongly internationalized and our regional and national fairs will be further expanded with the backing of Cosmoprof. We expect to be able to increase the foreign participation of exhibitors and visitors at the BEAUTY FORUM fairs in Germany, Switzerland, Pland, Hungary and France and to be able to set completely new trends in the development of new markets for our exhibitors.
